Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated General Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, help maintain a safe and organized work environment, and support skilled tradespeople and site supervisors with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

- Assist with general construction and labour duties on job sites.
- Load, unload, carry, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Assist skilled tradespeople and other crew members as required.
- Set up and take down tools, equipment, and temporary work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site management.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely, as trained and authorized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, or damaged equipment.
- Perform other general labour duties as required to support project completion.

Qualifications and Requirements





- Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset, but not required.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and site safety is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are assets, depending on job-site location.
- Valid construction safety training or certification, such as Working at Heights where applicable, is an asset or may be required for specific tasks.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
