Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Diesel & Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty machinery and equipment used in construction, agriculture, and industrial settings. Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, suspensions, brakes, air brakes, and electrical components on various heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, tire services, wheel alignments, and system inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Fabricate custom parts or modifications using welding, soldering, power tools, and hand tools to meet specific operational needs or repair requirements.
- Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing procedures while adhering to safety protocols related to HVAC systems, heavy lifting, and equipment operation.
- Maintain detailed service records documenting repairs performed, parts used,



and diagnostic findings for each piece of equipment serviced.
- Collaborate with service technicians and customer service teams to provide exceptional support and ensure customer satisfaction through timely repairs and clear communication.

Qualifications

- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or industrial equipment repair preferred.
- Solid mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- Hands-on fabrication skills including welding and soldering; experience with OEM schematics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts (including power tools), tractors-trailers, farm machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive repair techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery during repair processes.
- Valid certifications related to vehicle maintenance or heavy equipment operation are a plus; relevant certifications in electrical or HVAC systems are advantageous.
