Our well established, multi-site childcare is seeking a childcare assistant as well as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. The centre is located in the Kingston Rd and McCowan area. All candidates must be experienced, dedicated and motivated, RECE candidates must hold their ECE diploma or degree and be in good standing with the College of ECE.

The RECE role is a full time split shift position, the assistant role is a part time afterschool only position.

Duties include:

*program planning and implementation ( rece )

*daily: observations and parent/child interactions

*child and program safety plus room maintenance

All candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A positive mindset towards child learning and the desire to work with children is a must.

A minimum of 1 year experience in the childcare field is required.



Candidates must already hold First Aid/CPR level C certificate, as well be willing to obtain a new vulnerable sector police check.

Candidates with Food handler or Health & Safety training considered an asset.
