Schedule: Weekdays, weekday evenings, and Saturdays, based on clinic operational needs

Job Description

Aurora North Medical Centre is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Rehabilitation Clinic Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

This is a hands-on role supporting our physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other rehabilitation professionals with patient care, therapeutic exercises, and daily clinic operations. Some reception and administrative duties are also involved.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, takes initiative, and thrives in a team-oriented healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Rehabilitation Support

- Assist clinicians with patient care and daily treatment activities.

- Demonstrate and guide patients through basic therapeutic exercises as directed by clinicians.

- Prepare treatment rooms, rehabilitation equipment, and exercise areas.

- Assist with patient flow and communicate patient needs to clinicians.

- Measure, fit, and dispense compression stockings, braces, and rehabilitation products with appropriate training and clinician direction.

- Educate patients on the proper use and care of rehabilitation products.

Clinic Operations & Administration





- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.

- Assist with laundry, supplies, inventory, and general clinic operations.

- Support patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, and payments as needed.

- Assist with reception and administrative duties when required.

Qualifications

- Experience in a physiotherapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting is preferred.

- Background in Kinesiology, Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA), Exercise Science, or a related field is an asset.

- Experience with therapeutic exercises, compression garments, or bracing is an asset.

- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Friendly, reliable, proactive, and comfortable working with patients.

- Willingness to learn and assist with various clinic responsibilities.

- Experience with Jane App is an asset.

- English required; Chinese language proficiency is an asset.
