Metric Air Limited is seeking an experienced and reliable G2 Gas Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform gas and HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting work on residential and commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

- Install, service, and maintain gas-fired HVAC equipment.
- Install and test gas piping, valves, fittings, and connections.
- Perform gas pressure and leak testing.
- Work with furnaces, rooftop units, unit heaters, water heaters, boilers, and related equipment within G2 scope.
- Read mechanical drawings, specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
- Troubleshoot HVAC and gas equipment.
- Follow applicable gas codes and workplace safety requirements.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades.




- Maintain a clean and secure work area and properly handle Company tools and equipment.
- Complete required job and service documentation.

Requirements

- Valid G2 Gas Technician certificate – required
- Relevant HVAC/gas experience preferred.
- Knowledge of gas codes and safe work practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
