Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse. Your expertise will ensure efficient warehouse distribution processes, accurate order picking, and proper inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to perform heavy lifting with precision and safety.

Shift timing:

- Morning Shift: 6.00AM-3.30PM
- Afternoon shift: 3.30PM-1.00AM
- Night Shift: 8.00PM-5.30AM

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate counterbalance forklifts safely to transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Use counter balance Forklift to handle specific types of loads efficiently
- Perform accurate order picking based on warehouse management system instructions
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure operational safety
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper stacking and storage
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety standards
- Support inventory counts and stock replenishment activities
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all material handling operations




- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

- Proven one year experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Valid Counter balance forklift License
- Familiarity with material handling equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely on a regular basis
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Pay: $20.95-$22.50 per hour
