Overview

- We’re seeking dependable Kitchen and Front Counter Help to support daily restaurant operations and provide friendly, efficient service.
- This hands-on role includes preparing food, assisting customers, processing orders, and keeping kitchen and service areas clean and organized.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn, follow food safety practices, and work well with a team is essential.

Responsibilities

- Prepare menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards.
- Greet customers, answer questions, take orders, and provide attentive customer service.
- Use the POS system to enter orders and process transactions accurately; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Handle cash and payments responsibly, provide accurate change, and complete basic transaction tasks.
- Assist with serving orders and keeping the front counter stocked and presentable.
- Maintain clean workstations, kitchen equipment, dining areas, and service spaces in accordance with sanitation procedures.
- Follow food handling, storage,



and hygiene practices to help maintain a safe and orderly operation.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-counter teammates to keep orders moving and support a positive customer experience.
- Use positive judgment and time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Suggest relevant menu items or add-ons when appropriate.

Skills

- Customer service, communication, and teamwork.
- Food preparation, food handling, and food safety awareness.
- Cashiering, cash handling, and familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Basic math and accuracy when entering orders, handling payments, and checking quantities.
- Time management and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to sanitation, cleanliness, and safe work practices.
- Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience is helpful.
- Confidence with appropriate upselling and answering customer questions.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
