Plug CPA Professional Corporation is a modern public accounting firm focused on helping business owners simplify their accounting, bookkeeping, and tax processes. We are continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency through technology, automation, and AI-driven workflows.

We’re looking for a motivated junior web developer / AI specialist who loves building things, experimenting with new tools, and solving real business problems with code. This is a great fit for a recent grad or self-taught developer who codes for fun outside of school and has personal projects they’re proud to show off.

This isn’t a typical accounting firm role — we’re looking for someone creative, curious, and proactive who wants hands-on experience helping modernize a growing business from the inside.

What you’ll be doing

Over the next few months, you’ll help with projects like:

- Building out a small internal web application
- Structuring and improving our company website
- Exploring AI tools and automation opportunities for the firm
- Supporting website integrations, workflows, and process improvements
- Debugging and troubleshooting AI-generated or custom-built code
- Researching and pitching new technologies that could improve efficiency
- Jumping in on ad hoc tech and automation projects as they come up

What we’re looking for

We care less about formal experience and more about genuine interest in building things. Ideal candidates might have:

- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field




- Coding projects built outside of school
- A portfolio, GitHub, or examples of apps/sites you’ve built
- Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
- A basic grasp of web development fundamentals
- Robust problem-solving instincts and comfort learning independently

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
