Job Summary

The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing daily spa operations, supervising staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate has 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience, including previous experience as a massage therapist, with solid leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Spa Manager will be responsible for:

- Directing, planning, organizing, and evaluating daily spa operations.
- Establishing and implementing spa policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Hiring, training, supervising, and supporting a team of approximately 11–15 employees.
- Managing staff schedules, timekeeping, payroll administration, and performance.
- Planning and controlling budgets, inventory, purchasing, and product supplies.
- Managing contracts and coordinating advertising, marketing, and promotional activities.
- Overseeing spa services, reservations, retail sales, and point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
- Addressing guest complaints,



resolving service issues, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities to improve operations and sales.
- Maintaining knowledge of massage therapy services and supporting the delivery of professional spa treatments.

Qualifications

- 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience as a massage therapist or in a massage therapy or spa treatment role is required.
- Experience in spa operations, staff supervision, or team management is preferred.
- Knowledge of spa services, massage therapy practices, and guest care.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, budgeting, and retail sales.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic administrative tasks.

Pay: $42.00-$45.00 per hour
