GNG Solutions provides Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, security systems, and technical commissioning services across Canada.

We are hiring multiple Junior to Intermediate BAS Technicians and Technical Helpers to support commissioning and point-to-point testing for a large hospital project in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with basic electrical, HVAC, or technical knowledge who want to gain hands-on experience in building automation.

Previous BAS experience is an asset but not mandatory. On-site training and technical guidance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with Building Automation System (BAS) commissioning and point-to-point testing.
- Verify field devices, sensors, actuators, valves, and control points.
- Assist with checking inputs and outputs (I/O) between field devices and BAS controllers.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of wiring, connections, and device operation.
- Support testing of HVAC equipment and control sequences under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Read basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and point lists.
- Record test results, identify deficiencies, and update commissioning checklists.
- Work closely with senior technicians and project teams to complete commissioning activities.

Basic Requirements

- Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, automation, or low-voltage systems.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and testing equipment, or willing to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.




- Valuable attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work on-site in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets – Not Mandatory)

- Previous experience with BAS, HVAC controls, electrical systems, or low-voltage installations.
- Familiarity with sensors, relays, controllers, and control wiring.
- Experience with point-to-point testing, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Niagara N4, Honeywell, BACnet, or other automation systems.
- Technical diploma or certificate in electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, or automation.
- Valid ASP Construction Safety Card (Quebec) – An asset, not required to apply. Applicable site-access and safety requirements must be met before starting work.

Candidates without BAS-specific experience or certifications are encouraged to apply.
