Full-Time Shop Labourer – Metal Fabrication & Welding

I.M. Industries Ltd. is looking for a reliable, hardworking Labourer to join our busy custom metal fabrication and welding shop. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accurate work, follows directions, and works well with a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

- Accurately read and use an imperial tape measure.
- Lift, move, and organize materials weighing up to 50 lbs using safe handling practices.
- Assist with shipping and receiving materials and finished products.
- Operate a forklift and other shop equipment as trained and authorized.
- Support daily shop operations and assist team members as directed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow instructions and all shop safety procedures.
- Work overtime when required.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with an imperial tape measure is required.
- Ability to learn and retain instructions and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach to work.
- Punctual, dependable, and ready to contribute each day.




- Comfortable performing physical work in a busy shop environment.
- Previous forklift and shipping/receiving experience is preferred.

Schedule

- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — 8-hour shifts.
- Overtime as required.

Location: Edmonton, AB — on-site work. Only applicants currently located in Edmonton will be considered.
