We are looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations at our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, controlling inventory, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and oversee food preparation according to menu standards.
- Supervise, train, and coordinate kitchen staff.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor inventory, order kitchen supplies, and minimize food waste.
- Control food costs and maintain appropriate portion sizes.
- Prepare staff schedules and coordinate daily kitchen duties.
- Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are clean and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with hotel management and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory or management role.
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety.
- Robust leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage staff and prioritize tasks.
- Food Safety Certification is an asset.
