Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Worker to provide respectful, person-centered care and practical assistance to individuals. This role supports clients’ comfort, dignity, independence, and daily routines. The ideal candidate is attentive, patient, and able to follow care instructions while communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate care team.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and day-to-day support based on each client’s needs and care plan.
- Assist with activities of daily living, while encouraging independence and respecting privacy and dignity.
- Support senior care, including clients who may need dementia care.
- Assist individuals with disabilities using safe, respectful, and person-centered practices.
- Help with support clients during meals as needed.
- Perform light cleaning and help maintain a tidy, safe living environment.
- Provide home care support,



including companionship and assistance with daily routines.
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor or care qualified.
- Follow safety, infection-prevention, confidentiality, and documentation procedures.

Experience

- Previous caregiving or personal support experience.
- Experience in assisted living, a nursing home, or home care is an asset.
- Experience providing senior care, dementia care, or support to individuals with disabilities is an asset.
- Strong communication, organization, patience, and attention to detail are important.
- Must be dependable, respectful, and able to follow care plans and safety instructions.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 75.0 per week
