A&W; is seeking a dependable, hands-on Supervisor to help lead daily restaurant operations and deliver a welcoming experience for every guest. This role supports the team across the front and back of house, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and customer service. The Supervisor helps maintain smooth shifts, uphold food safety standards, and foster a positive, organized workplace.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support team members during daily restaurant operations, assigning tasks and helping the team meet service and quality expectations.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service and help resolve guest questions or concerns professionally.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring orders are accurate, timely, and prepared according to established standards.
- Support serving and other front-of-house duties as needed to keep service running smoothly.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures throughout the restaurant.
- Operate the POS system and oversee accurate order entry and cash handling.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and shift handoffs.




- Help train team members and contribute to interviewing and onboarding when needed.
- Communicate clearly with staff and management, and address operational issues promptly.

Qualifications

- Supervising experience and demonstrated leadership or team management skills.
- Food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience; restaurant management experience is an asset.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, food handling, and food safety practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is an asset.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence handling transactions and cash accurately.
- Kitchen experience is preferred. Experience in the food industry, bartending, hotel operations, or as a barista is also an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing shift needs, and set a positive example for the team.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
