Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to enhance their comfort and independence
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols to ensure safety and health
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, promoting healthy eating habits
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation
- Monitor clients’ health status, observe changes, and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals




- Assist with mobility exercises or transfers to ensure safety during movement within the home or facility

Requirements

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments demonstrating caregiving skills
- Knowledge of dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong understanding of senior care practices with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential preferred
- Experience working in assisted living settings or nursing homes is highly desirable
