Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, experience in food service, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent meal quality. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and serve dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling and hygiene procedures
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of shortages




- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a protected working environment for all staff
- Provide excellent food service by serving meals promptly and courteously to guests or customers

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including meal preparation and basic cooking skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen setting
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
