ACE Services Mécaniques is looking for experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics – Field Service to join our team at Greenstone Mine near Geraldton, Ontario.

This is a hands-on field position, working directly on the mine site rather than in a workshop. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on heavy mining equipment in an active mining environment.

Experience with production drills and surface or underground mining equipment is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance directly in the field
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform on-site repairs
- Work on mining equipment, including Pit Viper PV 235 drills, Caterpillar 793/992, Komatsu PC 5500 and P&H; equipment




- Use diagnostic tools such as CAT ET, SIS or equivalent
- Complete inspections and document repairs
- Follow all site health and safety procedures

Job Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant heavy equipment experience
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification
- Experience in mining, construction or heavy industrial environments
- Robust mechanical, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with field service and on-site equipment repairs (asset)
- Experience with production drills or mining equipment (asset
- Ability to work a FIFO 14/14 rotation with day and night shifts
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy and commitment to safety
