Our client is an established steel and metal fabricating shop in Brampton looking for a reliable Metal Fabrication Worker / Machine Shop Labourer to join their industrial shop environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or industrial experience who wants to build their skills in a machine-shop setting and potentially progress into machine operation and higher-paying responsibilities.

The initial focus is on learning the shop environment, supporting day-to-day operations, following safety procedures, and developing the skills needed to take on more advanced responsibilities over time.

What You'll Be Doing

- Support day-to-day operations within a busy steel and metal fabricating shop
- Assist with the movement, preparation, handling, and processing of steel and metal materials
- Work alongside fabricators, operators, and machine-shop personnel
- Assist with shop tasks and keep the work area organized
- Follow instructions, shop procedures, and workplace safety requirements
- Work around industrial equipment and metal fabricating operations, including plasma and flame-cutting processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Learn shop processes and equipment with experience and training
- Take on additional machine-shop responsibilities as skills and experience develop
- Follow all company safety and quality standards





What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or another industrial environment
- Comfortable working in a hands-on shop setting
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures carefully
- Comfortable working around steel, metal products, and industrial machinery
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Interest in developing skills and progressing into machine operation
- Previous machine-shop or metalworking experience is an asset
