About the role

Windowblinds.ca is looking for an organized, friendly person to be the first point of contact for our customers. You'll answer the phones, keep customers in the loop on their orders, enter orders into our system, pack and ship fabric samples, and take the product photos we use online.

It's a hands-on role that mixes desk work with time on the floor. If you like helping people, keeping things tidy and getting details right, you'll fit in well here.

What you'll do

Phones

- Answer incoming calls and return voicemails the same day
- Help callers with product questions, pricing, measuring and order status
- Route technical or installation questions to the right person

Customer communication

- Reply to customer emails, web inquiries and chat messages
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates and follow-ups
- Handle delays, changes and concerns calmly and keep notes on every customer file

Order entry

- Enter orders accurately into our ordering system, including sizes, fabrics, colours and options
- Double-check measurements and specs before orders go to production
- Process order changes and flag anything that doesn't look right

Sample packing and shipping

- Pick, label and pack fabric sample requests
- Prepare outgoing parcels,



print shipping labels and book pickups
- Keep the sample stock organized and let us know when samples run low

Product pictures

- Photograph products, fabrics and finished blinds for the website and social media
- Keep photos well lit, consistent and properly named and filed
- Do basic edits like cropping, straightening and brightness

What we're looking for

- 1+ year in customer service, reception, retail or an office role
- A clear, friendly phone manner and solid written English
- Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers and measurements
- Comfortable on a computer: email, spreadsheets and learning new software
- Able to stay organized and switch between calls, orders and packing
- Able to lift boxes up to 20 kg and be on your feet for parts of the day
- A good eye for photos (phone camera is fine, we'll show you our setup)

Nice to have

- Experience in window coverings, home décor or e-commerce
- Basic photo editing skills

Pay: $36,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
