NOW HIRING – CLASS 1 TRUCK DRIVER

Green Heat Energy Services – Fort McMurray, Alberta

Green Heat Energy Services is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our growing Fort McMurray operations.

This position is geared toward experienced drivers who are familiar with oil sands and industrial site work, hauling heavy equipment, machinery, loose loads, rental equipment, and supporting day-to-day field operations.

We are looking for a professional, safety-focused driver who is comfortable working in an active oilfield setting and understands the expectations associated with operating on major industrial sites.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Previous Fort McMurray oil sands / industrial site experience
- Must have had previous site access and be familiar with site procedures, orientations, and operating requirements
- Must have no active site bans or access restrictions
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Strong safety record and professional work history
- Proven experience hauling heavy equipment and machinery
- Experience transporting loose loads and general industrial freight
- Strong knowledge of load securement, weight distribution, chains, binders, straps, and transportation regulations
- Experience loading and unloading heavy equipment
- Comfortable operating equipment such as loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and other machinery when required
- Experience working around heavy equipment, trucking operations, and active industrial worksites




- Ability to complete required pre-trip/post-trip inspections and transportation documentation accurately

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting Green Heat Energy Services equipment and customer freight throughout the Fort McMurray region and surrounding oil sands operations.

Typical work may include:

- Hauling loaders, excavators, skid steers, generators, pumps, light towers, and other rental equipment
- Transporting heavy machinery and industrial equipment
- Hauling and properly securing loose loads
- Loading and unloading equipment safely and efficiently
- Completing load securement inspections before and during transport
- Mobilizing and demobilizing equipment to and from customer and industrial sites
- Coordinating with Green Heat operations, customers, and site personnel
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and reporting mechanical concerns
- Maintaining trucks, trailers, and equipment in a clean and professional condition
- Following all Green Heat Energy Services, client, and site-specific safety requirements
