Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join out team. The successful candidate will contribute to a responsive, play-based learning environment where children's voices, ideas, and interests guide their experiences. Through observation, reflection, and intentional planning, our educators support children as they explore, build relationships, express themselves, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and support meaningful, play-based learning experiences that emerge from children's interests, ideas and discoveries.
- Create welcoming, inclusive environments that foster children's dispositions.
- Observe, listen to, and document children's learning to inform planning and extend their thinking.
- Build warm,



respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues through responsive care and open communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to create consistent, supportive learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized environment through active supervision, daily routine, an established health and safety practices.

Qualifications and Skills

- Early Childhood Educator Certificate at Level 1, 2, or 3.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A genuine appreciation for children as capable, competent, and curious learners.
- An understanding of play-based learning, child development, and responsive caregiving.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate initiative, and contribute positively to a team.
- A willingness to reflect on practice, learn alongside children and colleagues, and continue developing professionally.
