Overview

The Hotel Front Desk Supervisor leads the front desk team and helps ensure every guest receives a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience. This hands-on role supports daily hotel operations, coaches front desk staff, and resolves guest concerns while maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest services.

Duties

- Supervise, support, and coach front desk associates, including helping coordinate shift coverage and handoffs.
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out, reservations, room assignments, and account accuracy.
- Provide attentive customer service and respond promptly to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
- Handle escalated issues with professionalism, sound judgment, and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Monitor front desk operations and ensure procedures, service standards, and hotel policies are followed.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette and ensure guest communications are courteous and timely.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other teams to address room readiness and guest needs.
- Keep accurate records, shift notes,



and front desk documentation.
- Support a welcoming, organized, and service-focused front desk workplace.

Qualifications

- Previous hotel experience, preferably in a front desk, guest services, or hospitality role.
- Experience guiding or supervising a team is preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional phone etiquette and comfort using multi-line phone systems and standard front desk technology.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and effective while managing multiple priorities.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, particularly when assisting a diverse range of guests.
- Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays, based on hotel needs.

Pay: $25.00-$25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
