Talent Acquisition Specialist

L.G. Home Comfort is a fast-growing, Ontario-based home services company dedicated to delivering comfort and quality to our customers. As we expand, we’re looking for a seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist who knows how to hunt for top talent. You’ll step in, take ownership of our recruiting and start delivering strong sales, technician and support hires from week one.

This is not a post-and-wait role. We need someone who goes out and finds the people we need.

About the Role

You’ll own full-cycle recruitment with a heavy focus on sales representatives, along with our technician and support staff teams. You’ll work directly with the HR Manager and leadership. You’ll be measured on results: hiring the right people and keeping them.

What You’ll Do

- Own the full recruitment cycle, from hiring-manager intake to accepted offer
- Actively hunt for candidates through LinkedIn, social media, job boards, referrals, networking, cold calls and direct outreach, including people who aren’t looking yet
- Build and maintain deep pipelines for high-volume sales and technician roles
- Screen, interview and qualify candidates quickly, checking for the right skills, drive and fit for each role.
- Work with hiring managers on role profiles, interview feedback and hiring decisions
- Track and report on pipeline activity and hiring metrics using Excel
- Give every candidate a fast, professional experience
- Coordinate onboarding so new hires transition smoothly
- Keep testing and improving sourcing strategies to stay ahead of the market
- Other related duties as assigned

What You Bring

- 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a high-volume environment (agency or in-house)
- A proven track record of hiring sales representatives,



ideally commission-based, in-home, B2C or field sales
- A hunter mindset: comfortable with cold outreach and with going after candidates instead of waiting on applications
- The ability to quickly spot real sales talent and screen out poor fits
- Experience recruiting skilled trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is a strong asset
- Strong working knowledge of Indeed, LinkedIn and Excel
- Self-directed, organized and accountable for your own numbers
- A confident, explicit communicator

What We Offer

- $60,000 base salary
- Eligibility for our placement commission program. Commissions are tied to meeting performance targets and to new hires successfully completing their probation, and are paid according to the Company’s commission plan
