Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Parts Advisor to help customers and service teams identify, order, and obtain the correct automotive parts. The ideal candidate combines strong communication and organizational skills with an interest in automotive repair, retail sales, and dependable order fulfillment. Dealership experience is helpful but not required.

Duties

- Assist customers, technicians, and other team members in identifying parts and finding suitable options.
- Provide attentive customer service in person and by phone, using qualified phone etiquette.
- Process sales and transactions through a point-of-sale (POS) system, including cashiering and cash handling.
- Prepare, track, and fulfill parts orders; coordinate availability, pickups, and deliveries as needed.
- Maintain accurate parts records and inventory information using relevant systems, such as a CMMS where applicable.
- Support inventory organization, stock checks, and routine maintenance of the parts area.
- Explain product features and options clearly, and use sound sales and negotiation skills to meet customer needs.




- Assist with merchandising and marketing activities, and contribute to effective sales management practices.
- Use Microsoft Excel and basic math to review inventory, pricing, and order information.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve order questions and keep work moving efficiently.

Skills

- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience or interest in retail sales, sales, cashiering, cash handling, and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with POS systems; CMMS experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of automotive repair or parts is an advantage; dealership experience is preferred.
- Comfortable with basic math and Microsoft Excel.
- Professional phone etiquette and the ability to negotiate respectfully.
- Interest in marketing, sales management, and parts inventory maintenance.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
