Job Summary

- Provide professional massage therapy tailored to each client’s needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
- Create a welcoming, respectful environment and deliver attentive customer service throughout each appointment.
- Follow applicable licensing, sanitation, privacy, and professional-practice requirements.

Duties

- Consult with clients about their health history, concerns, and desired outcomes; document relevant information accurately.
- Assess client needs and select appropriate massage techniques, pressure, and session plans.
- Explain services and aftercare clearly, using strong communication skills and appropriate medical terminology.
- Maintain clean, organized treatment spaces and sanitize equipment and linens between appointments.
- Keep timely, accurate client records while protecting confidential information.
- Monitor client comfort during sessions and adjust techniques as needed.




- Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues, and refer clients to an appropriate healthcare professional when concerns fall outside the scope of massage therapy.

Experience

- Training or experience in massage therapy and a sound understanding of anatomy, contraindications, and safe practice.
- Solid customer service, listening, and communication skills.
- Ability to use medical terminology appropriately and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
- Professional, dependable, and attentive to client comfort, privacy, and individual needs.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
