Job Overview

- We are seeking a dependable Residential Septic System Specialist to install, inspect, maintain, and repair septic systems at residential properties.
- This hands-on role involves working outdoors, operating equipment, and using mechanical and electrical skills to help ensure systems function safely and reliably.
- Work may include digging, lifting, equipment setup, and travel between job sites. Applicants should be comfortable working in changing weather and following job-site safety procedures.
- Relevant experience is valuable, but candidates with robust mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, service, and repair residential septic systems and related components.
- Diagnose system issues and assist with troubleshooting pumps, controls panels, alarms, piping, and other equipment.
- Operate excavators, backhoes, buckets, and other heavy equipment to access and prepare work areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.




- Perform basic electrical and low-voltage work related to septic system components, within the scope of training and applicable requirements..
- Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas orderly, and follow safety procedures.
- Communicate clearly with team members and provide professional service at residential job sites.

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- Experience operating an excavator, backhoe, and other heavy equipment; bucket operation experience is a plus.
- Hydro jetting
- safetly operate snake/augers
- Sewer Push Cameras
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Electrical experience, including familiarity with low-voltage systems, is an asset.
- abilty to take the lead with clients, while directing labourers when required
- Physical ability to work outdoors, stand, bend, lift, and perform hands-on tasks throughout the workday.

Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
