Position Title: Warehouse Technician

Salary Range: $40-42/hr plus OT ($46..66-49.00/hr for a 12 hour day)

About the Client and Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to support our client at a remote mine site. This is a contract position working a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation, with 12-hour day and night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records. We are looking for candidates who reside in Manitoba and has a personal vehicle to drive to site and we pay mileage at $0.50/km. Camp accommodations and meals are provided. This is a short-term project with an initial term of 3-6 months, with the possibility of an extension. This may also turn into a permanent position.

We prefer someone who is not working and can start as soon as possible.

References, criminal background check and medical required.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials, parts, and supplies
- Pick, issue, and distribute materials to maintenance and operations teams
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and warehouse records
- Enter and update inventory transactions using the MM system
- Perform regular inventory counts and investigate discrepancies
- Organize warehouse areas to ensure materials are easily accessible and properly stored
- Maintain accurate documentation for receiving, shipping, transfers, and material issues
- Follow all site safety procedures and warehouse best practices
- Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain a clean and organized work setting

Requirements:





- Previous experience working in a warehouse, inventory, or materials management role, preferably in a mining,industrial, or remote-site environment
- Experience using an ERP system is an asset
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Good understanding of inventory control and warehouse procedures
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence
- Previous mine-site or camp experience is an asset
