Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative specializing in Plumbing at Preston Hardware, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and expertise in our home improvement and construction supply store. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of plumbing products, you will assist customers in finding the right solutions for their projects. From providing expert advice to offering technical support, your contributions will be vital in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

- provide guidance and support to customers within the plumbing departments, leveraging expertise to address their needs effectively
- Respond to customer queries and provide tailored product recommendations aligned with their specific requirements
- Ensure a positive customer experience by delivering exceptional service and satisfaction
- Stay updated on the most recent developments in plumbing products, technologies, and industry trends to remain well-informed and knowledgeable
- Actively engage customers to understand their project requirements and guide them to suitable products
- Upsell additional products and accessories to enhance the customer's purchase
- Monitor inventory levels in the plumbing departments
- Collaborate in the replenishment of shelves and contribute to the upkeep of a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor
- Offer technical assistance and provide troubleshooting advice to customers regarding plumbing products
- Collaborate with other team members to address complex customer inquiries




- Conduct product demonstrations and workshops for customers and staff to enhance product knowledge

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a retail or sales role with a focus on plumbing products.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications in plumbing systems would be an asset.

Schedule: Monday to Saturday (with one day off during the week)

Working time: 42.5 hours per week (Shift: 8.5 Hours a day)
