Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Arnason Industries Ltd. is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

Arnason Industries Ltd. is one of the leading general contractors in Manitoba servicing heavy construction from small to large projects. Our organization has a strong reputation for successfully installing water and sewer facilities including construction of water and sewage treatment facilities in large portion of Northeastern Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
Responsibilities:

- Lay out, measure, and mark materials for cutting and assembly.
- Cut metal using plasma cutters, saws, grinders, and oxyfuel torches.
- Fit, align, and tack components before final welding.
- Perform MIG, TIG, stick and flux-core welding based on project requirements.
- Inspect welds and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Grind, dress, and finish welds to meet specifications.
- Maintain welding and fabrication equipment.




- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

- Must be experienced and have full knowledge of operation of oxygen and acetylene cutting equipment, as well as the safety knowledge required.
- Experience with stick and MIG Welding.
- Experience in TIG Welding an asset
- Physically capable of moderate to heavy lifting.
- Current CWB accreditation an asset.
- Welding Certificate is an asset.
- Clear communication (understanding written and verbal cues).
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work locally and in remote locations.

Job Types: Permanent, Full time

Pay: $42.00-$46.00 per hour
