RITZ Machine Works is a supply chain partner supplying fabricated metal components and assemblies to Original Equipment Manufacturers. We employ over 100 personnel at facilities in Dauphin, MB and Cambridge, MN. We pride ourselves in our customer focus, team approach and innovative solutions.

We invite applications for the following positions:

Packaging and Shipping Float -Dauphin, MB

40 hours per week with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities Include:

- Move between departments as needed
- Perform packaging, shipping and material handling duties when needed
- Complete inspection of each piece per its respective workorder and applicable work instructions
- Verify the quantity of parts being packaged
- Package finished parts per their respective workorder and applicable work instructions
- Ensure all operations on a work order are complete
- Ensure proper use of the shop floor ERP system
- Deliver finished work orders to the appropriate operations support team member
- Work with consistent speed and accuracy in a production setting
- Assist shipping staff on ship days




- Obtain and maintain certification to operate forklift
- Assist with packaging finished pieces individually according to customer specifications
- Assist R2 Shipping Lead when loading RITZ Winnipeg truck on ship days
- Monitor parts coming in for accuracy in quality, count, labels etc.
- Count pieces to verify quantities
- Notify Shipping Administrator of any correct or defective parts
- Attach shipping labels
- Use inventory software and handheld scanners to manage part locations in ERP system

Qualifications and Skills:

- Attain and maintain forklift certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
