IT QA Tester:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an IT QA Tester for a 12-month role. This position is a 100% remote position.

Job Description:
The IT QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of internal applications, focusing on both traditional software development and low-code platforms. This role involves hands-on testing, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams to deliver high-quality, defect-free solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for both traditional and Dynamics 365 CRM applications.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using designated bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are understood, prioritized, and resolved.
- Create and manage appropriate test data sets for effective test execution.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, test logs, and defect reports.
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.





Mandatory Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT quality assurance testing.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies.
- Knowledge of Software Testing Fundamentals and Practices.
- Familiarity with Bug Tracking and Test Case Management Systems.
- Basic knowledge of Database concepts and SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level).
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM concepts and testing approaches.
- Proficiency in Test Design and Execution.
- Experience with manual and basic automation scripting.

Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the likelihood of extension.

Start Date:
ASAP.

Assignment Location:
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with 100% work from home arrangements.
