About the Position

We are a growing Taekwondo academy looking for reliable and energetic Class Assistants to support our beginner classes, especially children under 8 years old.

This is a great part time opportunity for a student or someone looking for a few hours of work each week.

You will work alongside our Taekwondo instructors, helping younger students follow instructions, participate in activities, and stay engaged during class.

Responsibilities

- Assist instructors during children's Taekwondo classes.
- Help younger students follow instructions and participate.
- Support basic Taekwondo exercises and activities.
- Encourage discipline, respect, and positive behaviour.
- Help maintain a safe and organized class.
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and student organization.





Qualifications

- Enjoys working with young children.
- Patient, energetic, responsible, and reliable.
- Experience working with children is an asset.
- Taekwondo experience is an asset.
- CPR/First Aid is an asset.
- Students are encouraged to apply.

Language

- English required
- Spanish is an asset

Requirements

- Must currently be in Canada.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Hours may vary slightly depending on the school calendar and statutory holidays.

We are not able to support work permits or LMIA for this position.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 per week
