Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Band Saw Operator/Shipper Receiver to support material processing and warehouse operations. This hands-on role combines operating a band saw with shipping final products and receiving raw material for production. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, comfortable with basic math, and able to work in a warehouse distribution environment.

Duties

- Operate a band saw to cut materials to specified dimensions, following work orders and safety procedures.
- Measure and verify materials before and after cutting; check finished work for accuracy and quality.
- Receive, inspect, identify, and put away incoming materials, documenting discrepancies as needed.
- Load and unload materials and shipments using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices.
- Use a forklift when trained and authorized.
- Support warehouse production while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Keep work areas, equipment, and materials organized; follow established safety and housekeeping practices.




- Coordinate with coworkers to prioritize production and warehouse tasks and meet order deadlines.

Qualifications

- Warehouse experience, including shipping & receiving, is preferred.
- Experience operating a band saw or other material-cutting equipment is an advantage; training may be provided.
- Forklift operating certified.
- Familiarity with a warehouse management system, MRP, is a plus.
- Basic math skills, including measuring, counting, and checking quantities.
- Ability to read work orders, labels, and shipping documents and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to perform hands-on warehouse work, including standing, bending, and handling materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
