Overview

- We are seeking a friendly, dependable Server/Cashier to provide welcoming guest service and support smooth daily restaurant operations.
- This hands-on role combines serving, cashiering, food preparation, and maintaining clean, sanitary service areas.
- Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience is helpful. Training may be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong customer service and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, answer questions, take orders, and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
- Enter orders accurately using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Process transactions, handle cash, and provide accurate change using basic math and cashiering skills.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established procedures and food safety standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation and coordinate orders with kitchen staff.
- Keep dining, service, and work areas clean by following sanitation and food-handling practices.
- Monitor guest needs, resolve routine concerns professionally, and communicate requests to the appropriate team members.




- Recommend menu items and use appropriate upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a welcoming approach.

Requirements

- Strong customer service, communication, and guest services skills.
- Ability to provide courteous, attentive service in a hospitality or food service environment.
- Comfort using a POS system; Micros POS experience is preferred.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with orders, transactions, and cash handling.
- Understanding of food handling, food safety, sanitation, and safe food preparation practices, or willingness to learn.
- Food service, serving, restaurant, kitchen, or food industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Good time management, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $17.60-$23.61 per hour
