In this position, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will be essential to keep operations running smoothly. Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks following all federal, state, and company regulations to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate maintenance needs to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery manifests, bills of lading, and inspection reports




- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management and freight staging when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly

Skills

- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment for loading/unloading freight
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols in a logistics setting
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues on trucks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and inspection processes
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Physical stamina for long hours on the road and manual tasks involved in freight handling

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
