Overview

The Dishwasher/Prep Cook supports daily kitchen operations by maintaining a clean, organized work area and preparing ingredients for service. This hands-on role helps the kitchen team deliver timely, consistent food service in a welcoming hospitality environment.

Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep dishwashing, food-preparation, and storage areas clean and orderly.
- Assist with food preparation, such as washing and cutting produce, portioning ingredients, and assembling items according to instructions.
- Follow recipes and kitchen procedures when assisting with basic cooking tasks.
- Store food properly and help rotate supplies to support freshness and reduce waste.
- Follow food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
- Support cooks and other team members during busy service periods.
- Assist with general kitchen tasks and, as needed,



help maintain smooth coordination between kitchen and serving staff.

Requirements

- Ability to work reliably as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.
- Attention to cleanliness, organization, and secure food-handling practices.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies as needed.
- Restaurant, kitchen, food preparation, cooking, food service, or hotel experience is helpful but not required.
- Experience with cleaning, serving, or hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate respectfully with coworkers.

Pay: $16.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
