We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist a private male employer who is a Quadriplegic with all activities of daily living.

The employer is easygoing and enjoys going outside and shopping.

Location: Coquitlam, BC (Near Coquitlam Centre)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Monday to Wednesday with Thursday and Friday possible
- 8:00am start time
- 6 to 8 hour shifts

Compensation: $24.50 an hour for probation

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Personal care routines such as showering/bed baths, dressing, colostomy, and indwelling catheter care
- Meal preparation, and assisted feeding
- Light housekeeping duties
- Driving the employer to appointments and errands if you have a drivers license

Required Qualifications:

- Valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license preferred but not required
- Must be an experienced driver
- Very valuable command of English
- General caregiving experience
- Experience with lifts
- Experience with all aspects of personal care
- Physically fit to do the job

$24.00 per hour
