Practice Details:

At Penticton Regional Hospital, you’ll provide inpatient neurology consultations and rounding, working closely with colleagues in internal medicine, emergency medicine and critical care.

Local MRI, CT, EEG and EMG services support your diagnostic work. You can expect to work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, ideally for a week or more at a time.

Participation in the Interior Health regional Neurology call schedule is an expectation of this position. Locums will contribute to virtual regional call coverage and provide neurological consultation and support across Interior Health sites, in accordance with the established regional service model and call schedule.

Call Schedule:

Hours of work: Full time
On call requirements: Locums are expected to participate in the Interior Health regional Neurology call schedule. This includes virtual call coverage and neurological consultation and support across Interior Health sites, following the established regional service model.

Weekdays (0800-1700): FFS + MOCAP Level 1. Evening/weekend virtual regional call (frequency TBD): temporary FFS income guarantee, inclusive of all income sources, to Jan 31/27. Evenings (1700-2300): $769/6 hrs; weekends/stats (0800-2300): $2,022/15 hrs.
