Job Overview

- The Cook/Kitchen Hand supports daily kitchen operations by preparing meals, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and helping deliver a welcoming guest experience.
- This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced food service or hospitality environment.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation and meal preparation according to recipes and kitchen instructions.
- Cook and assemble menu items while following food safety and food handling procedures.
- Help with serving guests and provide courteous customer service and guest services.
- Operate a POS system to process orders and payments; experience with Micros POS is an advantage.
- Assist with cashiering and cash handling accurately when needed.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, counters, and work areas throughout each shift.




- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members to support smooth service.

Requirements

- Previous food service experience, kitchen experience, or restaurant experience is helpful.
- Experience in serving, cooking, food preparation, or cleaning is an advantage.
- Customer service, hospitality, and guest services experience are valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Micros POS, cashiering, or cash handling is a plus.
- Hotel or barista experience is welcome but not required.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, attention to cleanliness, and a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to follow food safety practices and safe food handling procedures.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
