Job Summary

Frenkel Tobin LLP is seeking a full-time law clerk for their family law firm.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recent experience in an Ontario family law office and is eager to learn and develop their career.

The law clerk will work in a team environment helping lawyers in family law matters by performing law clerk duties which will include drafting/serving/filing court documents, organizing disclosure, scheduling meetings, entering filing deadlines, speaking with clients and general office management.

The role is hybrid with an expectation of at least 4 days per week being in-person at the office.

The candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized and demonstrate a solid attention to detail.

Of utmost importance to the firm is that the candidate is a team player and is willing to put in the time and effort to learn. Frenkel Tobin also requires someone who is respectful to clients, staff, opposing lawyers/parties, and anyone else they come into contact within the course of their work.
