Prairie Crane has officially launched our Vernon, BC branch, and we’re looking for a Journeyman Red Seal Crane Operator with a valid Class 1 driver’s licence to join our team immediately.

Key Responsibilities

● Safely and efficiently operate mobile cranes ranging from 50 to 200 tons.

● Perform lifts in accordance with load charts, provincial regulations, and company safety standards.

● Complete daily crane and equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

● Coordinate lift planning and execution with dispatch, supervisors, riggers, customers, and site personnel.

● Maintain accurate logbooks, lift plans, and job documentation.

● Represent Prairie Crane professionally on all job sites.





● Contribute to the continued growth and success of our Vernon branch through accountability, leadership, and a team-first attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Journeyman Red Seal Crane Operator certification — required.

● Valid Class 1 driver’s licence — required.

● Minimum 3 years of mobile crane operating experience.

● Experience operating cranes in the 50–100 Ton, up to 200 ton range is a strong asset.

● Solid knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and safe lifting practices.

● Strong mechanical aptitude, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team.

● A professional attitude and a commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
