Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Computer Assembly Technician to support PC hardware assembly, system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and Windows operating system installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, upgrading, testing, and maintaining desktop computer systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Position: Computer Assembly Technician
Location: Markham, ON
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00/hour
Duration: Contract (October – December 2026), Up to 40 Hours/Week
Industry: Computer Hardware / Technology

Requirements:

- Hands-on experience in PC assembly, hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience installing and configuring Windows operating systems, drivers, firmware, and updates.




- Proficiency with BIOS/UEFI configuration and hardware diagnostic tools.
- Ability to install, replace, and upgrade computer components, including CPUs, RAM, storage drives, graphics cards, and power supplies.
- Experience performing system testing, quality-control checks, and troubleshooting hardware compatibility issues.
- Robust technical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow technical procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong English communication skills; Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset.
