Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Stainless Steel Cleaner & Shipper Assistant to join our team in Burlington, Ontario. This position combines shipping and receiving support, material handling, and cleaning and finishing stainless-steel components to ensure products meet company quality standards before shipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, the ability to operate a forklift safely, and a strong commitment to workplace safety, product quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Ability to read and understand purchase orders, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading materials and finished products.
- Assist with inventory organization and general material-handling duties as required.
- Clean stainless steel products using a pressure washer.
- Clean product surfaces using rollers and prepare products for packing.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and quality standards.
- Operate a forklift safely.




- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, manufacturing, or material handling is an asset.
- Valid forklift operator training/certification is required. Candidates must be trained and competent to operate the type of forklift used in the facility.
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, bending, and handling materials, with lifting requirements discussed during hiring.
- Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a clean work environment.
