We are seeking a reliable and experienced Server for our private dining room located in a high-end French bistro in Westmount.
This position is suited for someone with prior experience in restaurant, café, hotel, or private dining service who enjoys providing attentive and friendly service in a more intimate, residential-style environment.
Schedule
Tuesday to Saturday4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (approximately 15–25 hours per week)Occasional flexibility may be required for private events.
Compensation
$17.00 – $19.00/hour + tips(Competitive for the Montreal hospitality market, with additional income from gratuities and private events)
Job Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests in a warm, professional manner

Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a smooth dining experience

Handle reservations, phone inquiries, and basic front-of-house coordination

Support private dining service and small catered events

Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and reset efficiently

Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely service





Respond to resident requests in a courteous and attentive manner

Follow all building and safety procedures at all times

Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests

Requirements

Excellent command of the French and English language (oral and written). English is required to respond to requests from English-speaking customers.

Previous experience as a server in a restaurant, café, hotel, or similar hospitality environment

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude

Ability to work in a structured but quick-paced environment

Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic

Available to work evenings and weekends as required
