Job DescriptionJob Description
This is a remote position.
Why this role, why now
Founded in Montreal in 2019, INNOOVA is a boutique consulting firm specializing in HR and finance transformation, and the only certified Workday partner based in Canada. We also work across Dayforce, UKG and SuccessFactors, with clients in healthcare, the public sector, finance and technology. At INNOOVA, you get the rigor of a recognized firm without the weight of large corporate structures.
Our Workday practice is growing, and we are adding a permanent senior voice to a mandate focused on Workday Financials as our client portfolio expands. You join an active, fast-moving mandate where your recommendations directly shape how the client's systems work, with a clear path toward an architect or lead role as you grow. We are looking for someone who advises, influences, and transforms, not just someone who configures.
Less bureaucracy, more impact.
Your day-to-day impact
- Lead requirements gathering and design workshops directly with client stakeholders, turning business needs into sound Workday configuration decisions.
- Design and configure one or more Workday Financials modules, such as FDM, GL, AP/AR, budgets, inventory, assets, procurement and expenses, with growing exposure to other modules as mandates evolve.
- Contribute to integration work connecting Workday to the client's wider systems ecosystem.
- Drive testing cycles and deployment of readiness, from unit testing through go-live support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client teams by raising risks early and recommending process improvements, not just closing tickets.
Help grow INNOOVA's Workday practice by sharing knowledge with junior consultants as the team expands.
Requirements
The profile we are looking for: 50% advisor · 50% expert
What matters most (50%)
- An advisory mindset: you propose solutions and challenge assumptions rather than simply executing requests.
- The confidence to lead client workshops and design sessions, including with stakeholders who don't speak "systems".
- Robust analytical skills to turn ambiguous business needs into clear functional and system logic.
- Clear, credible communication that bridges functional and technical audiences.
What we also expect (50%)
- Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Financials modules (general ledger, AP/AR, assets or procurement).
- A solid understanding of accounting and finance processes (month-end close, reconciliations, procure-to-pay).
- Experience contributing to integration work is an asset.
- Exposure to other Workday modules (HCM, Payroll) or other SaaS platforms (Dayforce, UKG, SuccessFactors) is an asset.
- Comfort working across the full implementation lifecycle, from design through deployment.
Our must-haves
- Bilingualism (French/English), spoken and written.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 years or more of Workday consulting or implementation experience.
- Workday Financials certification, equivalent and substantial hands-on implementation track record. (An asset)
- The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder), to be confirmed during the background check.
Benefits What we offer
- Competitive compensation.
