Key Responsibilities

Data Governance & Stewardship

- Support implementation and operationalization of the enterprise Data Governance framework.
- Establish and maintain Data Owner, Data Steward, and Data Custodian responsibilities across critical data domains.
- Facilitate governance working groups and support governance decision-making.
- Develop and maintain governance policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
- Maintain governance artifacts including glossaries, ownership matrices, issue logs, and governance KPIs.

Metadata & Data Catalog
- Partner with business and technology teams to capture business and technical metadata.
- Develop and maintain business glossary terms, data definitions, critical data elements (CDEs), classifications, and ownership information.
- Support enterprise data catalog adoption and metadata enrichment.
- Validate relationships between business definitions, source systems, data models, and reporting/analytics assets.
- Support end-to-end data lineage documentation.

Data Quality




- Define and document data quality rules in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Support profiling and identification of data quality issues.
- Establish measures around accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, timeliness, and uniqueness.
- Coordinate remediation of data quality issues with business and technical teams.
- Track data quality exceptions, root causes, ownership, remediation plans, and closure.
- Support development of data quality dashboards and scorecards.

Data Privacy, Classification & Controls
- Assist with classification of confidential, sensitive, personal, and regulated data.
- Partner with privacy, security, legal, and compliance stakeholders to align governance requirements.
- Support documentation of data access, retention, usage, and protection requirements.
- Help identify governance and control gaps across the data lifecycle.

3 7+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Metadata Management, MDM, Business Analysis, or related data roles.
