Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Marée in St Andrews, NB. This position is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing. The manager leads and coaches the team to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service and to meet sales and profitability targets. Daily tasks include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating product replenishment, managing point-of-sale processes, and handling customer concerns or escalations. The role also involves implementing loss prevention practices, maintaining store policies and standards,



and providing regular performance feedback to team members. The Retail Store Manager will also be responsible for putting in inventory in the POS system and on our online website and labeling and pricing all products strategically.

Qualifications

- Solid customer service orientation, with a focus on Customer Satisfaction and clear Communication skills.
- Proven Store Management experience, including staff supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day retail operations.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and basic cash handling procedures.
- Ability to motivate and develop team members, with solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic proficiency with Shopify POS systems and inventory management tools.
- Knowledge of marketing our items on social media and maintaining a strong online presence.
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is highly beneficial.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is an asset.
