Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll help build on existing improvement initiatives, standardize processes, improve labour efficiency, and support the next phase of our operational growth.

This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the shop floor, work alongside supportive leaders, and help shape how our operations evolve.

What Makes This Role Attractive

Competitive compensation: Earn $80,000-$120,000 annually.

RRSP matching: Receive 3% employer matching after six months.

Benefits: Benefits coverage after six months, with some flexibility to negotiate.

Make a real impact: Drive practical improvements that enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and consistency.

Hands-on ownership: Work directly with team leads, foremen, managers, and production teams to identify challenges and implement solutions.

Join a growing operation: Help standardize and optimize processes as the business expands.

Supportive culture: Join a team that values its people, recognizes contributions, and celebrates successes.

What You'll Be Doing

Identify opportunities to improve labour efficiency, workflow, productivity, quality, and cost.

Spend time on the shop floor observing processes, engaging employees,

and identifying practical improvement opportunities.

Lead improvement initiatives using Lean tools, root cause analysis, process mapping, 5S, standard work, and setup reduction techniques.

Standardize processes, strengthen documentation control, and sustain improvements already underway.

Improve daily operating routines, including morning huddles, visual management, and team communication.

Collaborate with team leads, foremen, and managers to implement solutions, train employees, and build accountability.

Track KPIs, measure results, and ensure improvements deliver lasting benefits.

What You Bring

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in industrial or manufacturing engineering, quality, production, or continuous improvement.

Experience in welding and fabrication, wet-coat painting, assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

Practical experience applying Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project execution skills, with the initiative to identify opportunities and see them through.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

A hands-on, approachable style and the ability to turn improvement concepts into practical shop-floor solutions.

A diploma or degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ready to make a difference? Interviews are taking place right away and cover letters are not needed.
