Job Overview:
The Lead Quality Engineer will support manufacturing operations and quality engineering initiatives within an aerospace environment. The candidate will drive root cause and corrective action analysis, facilitate cross-functional working sessions, and utilize continuous improvement methodologies to resolve complex operational constraints.
Requirements:
- 6+ years in aerospace manufacturing operations or quality engineering.
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt minimum - XX Belt preferred.
- Proficient in Fishbone, 5-Why, Pareto analysis, and hypothesis testing applied in a manufacturing context.
- Direct experience facilitating cross-functional root cause working sessions with engineering and operations participants.
- Working knowledge of SAP MRP - able to interpret ZC13 and ZP24 outputs independently.
- Solid analytical skills - able to distinguish constraint from symptom in complex multi-plant environments.
