Midland Transport is currently seeking qualified Class 1 P&D; Owner Operator based in Kentville NS.
In this role you will operate a tractortrailer to complete scheduled local routes ensuring timely accurate and professional service to our customers.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (10:00 - 20:00)
What We Offer:
Competitive Hourly rates $59.28
Fuel purchased at authorized by the Company fuel stops will be charged to the Owner Operator at a rate of $0.408.

Responsibilities
Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery
Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage
Communicate efficiently with dispatch and customers
Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation:
company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws
Perform pre-trip en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation
Report any incident accident injury or damage in a timely manner
Qualifications
Must have a reliable Tractor Truck no older than eight years
Education Required: High School or GED
AZ drivers license with a minimum of 3 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience required
Clean drivers abstract and criminal search
Excellent communication skills work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
Safety conscious.
Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days Evenings Nights Weekends.
